"Here isthe principal winter home of the blue goose, one of the rarest and most interesting of North American geese. Going northward inthespring, their pathway can be traced until they reach Hudson Bay. There they disappear; the nest and eggs have never been found, and nowhite man hasever reported seeing a blue goose in the summer" (see text, page 377).
