Delegates and spectators can dial any of the U.N.'s five official languages - French, English, Russian, Spanish, and Chinese-and listen to a simultaneous translation through earphones. Cuban crisis absorbs the Po litical Committee, powerful arm of the General Assembly, in a debate lasting five days.
