We helped set up Jim Collier so he could develop a profit. When Jim Collier came to Chase's Community Economic Development Division, he was already in business. He started as an assistant to a commercial photographer. When his employer decided to move into another area of photography, Jim established himself as a free-lance photographer. His former employer rented him studio space and friends lent him some money to begin operating. But Jim needed more money. To compete in this highly competitive field, he had to have the kind of expensive photographic equipment that would allow him to take on a variety of jobs. So he came to Chase. With the money we lent him, he was able to acquire the necessary equipment. And we've continued to stand by with whatever financial advice he needs. Jim Collier is now busy doing work for many of the nation's largest advertising agencies. And he has developed a great reputation as a photographer. And we're both developing a profit. A good motive for change is the profit motive. THE CHASE MANHATTAN BANK O 1 Chase Manhattan Plaza, NewYork, N.Y. 10015/Member F.D.I .C.
