His ride remains a stirring and fateful moment in the history of America - a reminder of the brave men who risked their lives and fortunes so that we might be free today. Now, as the world celebrates 200 years of American freedom, we re-dedicate our selves to the American ideal by recalling , the proud deeds of patriots such as Paul Revere. To commemorate the 200th anni versary of his ride, The Danbury Mint will issue its first Bicentennial Bell.
