Completed in 1928, the domed landmark crowns a knoll called the Campus, whose 55 acres include nine other State buildings. Here Gov. Albert Rosellini greets citizens each weekday noon. Summer finds some 75 kinds 460 of shrubs and flowers abloom in the Sunken Garden, which draws thousands of visitors.
