Fresh-baked cookies disappear as if by magic at Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts. Its bak ery produces 57,000 dozen cook ies in an eight-month season. Covered bridge, or "kissing bridge," is one of some 30 struc tures moved from other parts of New England and reconstruct ed at Sturbridge. Tradition says courting couples always stopped under its roof to make a wish.
