Hamilton closes up shop the next day, declaring a half holiday. Far more tourists arrive now by airliner than by ship, but the Queen's stately comings and goings still dominate Hamilton's weekly calendar. 4 Railbirds look down on the Somerset ferry plowing back to its terminal, on well-wishers waving from Albuoy Point, on Front Street's wharves, and on the Cathedral's gray Gothic bulk.
