Rock, in the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE for November, 1928). HER ORNAMENTS ARESUPPORTED BY HER IO8 PIGTAILS Most of the decorations ofaTibetan nomad woman are worn onher back. The bowllike pieces ofsilver are fastened tostrips of red cloth. The picture was taken en route toRako, inthe grass lands east ofthe Koko Nor.
