For her, ever mindful of the proverb that "A good housewife isafull cupboard," there iswool tocard and spin and dye; homespun to weave; linen shirts and blouses to embroider; and all the cooking and cleaning. The man makes his own wide leather, brass-studded belt (see also Color Plate VIII).
