It rests behind sealed doors in a building on the site of the Mongol "Round City," a palace praised by Marco Polo. FOR CENTURIES CHINA HAS HAD SUCH "MOVIES" In some "peep shows" tiny figures are moved across the plane of vision; in others the operator pushes the illustrations along atrack. The woman at the right has bound feet, apractice that isbecoming rarer.
