Overland Limited Fastest daily train to San Francisco This photograph shows the famous Overland Limited on the Lucin Causeway, Southern Pa cific's spectacular cut-off across Great Salt Lake. For more than 30 miles you literally "go to sea by rail." The Overland Limited and its companion, the PacificLimited,are the fastest daily trains on the shortest route between the east and San Fran cisco. Both are completely air-conditioned.
