WINGS OVER THE BOUNDING MAIN RESTLESS SHEARWATERS USUALLY STAY FAR OFFSHORE In northern summer they congregate about the Grand Banks off Newfoundland. The only known breed ing grounds of the Atlantic GREATER SIIEARWATER (upper right) are in the Tristan da Cunha Islands. Together with CORY'S SIIEARWATER (lower left), they sometimes visit New York Bay. The circumpolar FULMAR (lower right, light phase on water, dark above) keeps far out at sea, following ocean liners.
