HONORS FOR AMUNDSEN 59 Cooking vessel of the Eskimo at King Williams Land made from copper sheeting of one of Sir John Franklin's vessels; about 15 inches long. Eskimo toys; these are all in miniature, the snow shovel being about 8 inches long. To the left of it are seen 4 dolls made from wood and bone; then an imitation Krag-Jorgen sen rifle, a spinning top, and a tambourine. Lying at the base is a toy with which the children amuse themselves by slinging the stick upward and catching it on one of the holes of the larger pieces. Photos by Captain Amundsen.
