Photo bytthan C.LeMunyon A CHINESE INN YARD: MONGOLIA This is where all travelers in this part of the country have to stay over night if they want a roof over their heads, poor asitmay seem. The Chinese are yearly moving farther and farther into Mongolia, raising grain and other food-stuffs. The Chinese cultivated fields extend out ward into Mongolia about 70 miles from Kalgan. While the season is quite short, the soil is very rich andproductive and will support many of the millions who at present live in the crowded cities and villages of China.
