The ceramic decorations of this stairway are among the finest in Spain (see, also, illustration, page 286). SEVILLE'S DREAM PALACE ISREDOLENT OF MOORISH DAYS Beautiful Alcazar and itssuperb gardens have been successively changed by Christian kings until little remains ofthe original Moorish structure. The nucleus of the palaceasitappears to-day was built byPeter the Cruel and Henry II in theMoorish style.
