VISIONS | YOUR SHOT National Geographic Photography Contest Best in Show More than 7,000 shots were submitted to the 2013 annual National Geographic Photo Contest, representing over 150 countries. Our judges selected images by Paul Souders, Cecile Smetana Baudier, and Adam Tan as winners in the cate- gories of Nature, People, and Places. Souders, the grand- prize winner, received $10,000 and an invitation to visit National Geographic’s head- quarters in Washington, D.C. PEOPLE Cecile Smetana Baudier Fyn, Denmark Baudier says this portrait of identical twins—15-year-old Nils and Emil—illustrates their different roles in their family.
