) National Ueographic Society 14 Teton Spires Soar to the Heavens Above the Little Chapel of the Transfiguration Grand Teton (above), Mount Owen (center), and Mount Teewinot are called the Cathedral Group because of their lofty turrets and pinnacles. Stately spruce and fir assemble on the lower slopes like worshipers. The chapel was built by Wyoming Episcopalians. For inspiration, its altar window faces the mountains.
