The 19,500-milejourney took three weeks tocomplete and was accomplished in four laps: Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen, 4,200 miles; Friedrichshafen to Tokyo, 6,800 miles; Tokyo toLos Angeles, 5,500 miles; Los Angeles to Lakehurst, 3,000 miles.
