Thistown appears tobeabout toundergo trans formation. Missionary efforts have induced many of the people to put on European garments; ancestral stones have been removed from infront of some of the houses, and the stone guardians at the entrance to the town have fallen. The ruins of several such cities dot the region tothe west. With the breaking up of the old life, the people tend to scatter and to live in small settlements.
