Trace the course of the Delaware River uptothegreat bend below Tren ton, discern the Jersey capital just above the elbow, and follow the northwest reach of the river to Easton, Pennsylvania. Inthe upper right corner can be very faintly detected the waters of Raritan Bay, and beyond them the dim outlines of Staten Island, otherwise the Borough ofRichmond, New York City.
