This little Bavarian village's decennial dramatization of the Martyrdom of Christ attracts throngs out of all proportion toitspopulation ofonly 2,600. The big building at the left, near the icy-cold Ammer River, is the Passion Play theater. The other large building, just toright ofcenter, isthevillage church.
