THE GREEK BRONZES OF TUNISIA Copyright, 1912, by the National Geographic Magazine NO. 5. STATUETTE OF A MALE DWARF DANCING THE CAKEWALK : HEIGHT, 32 CENTIMETERS His repulsive ugliness is increased by his being given but one eye, which is made of pol ished silver. He advances, twisting and contorting his body and making faces. All three statuettes seem to be dancing to the sounds of a sort of castanet that they hold in their hands.
