Onher forehead isabandeau of pearls. She wearstwo large ear-rings inlaid with corals, pearls, and preciousstones. Apendant and acharm-box are on her breast, all made ofgold and inlaid with pearls and precious stones.Long necklaces ofthesame materials hang down to her feet. Itissaid that theornaments she has on her person cost about twenty-five thousand "Tang ka" ($3,000). A Tang-ka isaTibetan silver coin amount ing to 12 cents.
