ANCIENT PICTOGRAPIHS IN GLEN CANYON Photo byKolb Brothers Note the mountain sheep on the arrow. The figures near the center may represent a dance somewhat similar tothemasked dances ofthe Hopi. The large figures on the left, we are told, represent a stone last on which they wove a sandal. The spiral indicates water. The quiet waters of Glen Canyon were quite a rest after the torrents above. We found here many evidences ofancient Indians, who had reached theriver through the side canyons.
