We have made most favorable arrangements with The Century Co. for the right to print the latest edition of The Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia ® of Proper Names (Revised and Enlarged 1914) on our Britannica India paper. These sets we will bind up in the beautiful Britannica bindings which DoWn have been so much admired. As we assumed all the risk and expense in the manufacturing, we were able to make a very favorable contract with The Cen tury Co. so that we can offer the work at a very large discount from regular prices-equal to about 50 per cent.; but we can only allow this discount in case book-buyers shall respond quickly, thereby enabling us to print and bind the work in large quantities; only in this way can we save enough in the manufacturing to warrant so great a reduction in price. Our offer is, therefore, limited both as to time and to price. The India paper impression of this celebrated work is now being printed, and the first copies will be ready soon after the appearance of this magazine. Orders in advance are now being registered, (by mail only) but as we anticipate an enormous demand, prompt action is necessary. The complete set will be sent for cash in full or on a first payment of only $I.oo down. After publication, the prices will be increased. NOTE-This new edition of The Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia differs from earlier editions in the fact that the text throughout has been revised and corrected, wherever possible, in the light of the most recent knowl edge, and that more than 100,000 new words, definitions, phrases and proper names have been added, as a .supplement, this new matter being distributed in its appropriate place at the ends of the separate volumes.
