The gridiron roofing totheright isthat of South Station, where more trains come and go each day than in any other American station with one exception; yetitcloses shortly after midnight. At one corner of the Common is the State House, at the other is Park Street Church, where "America"was first sung inpublic. The Customhouse tower rises in the vicinity of Faneuil Hall. In the upper left corner rises the shaft of the Bunker Hill Monument.
