The South Harbor, on the east side ofthecity and south ofSkatudden Peninsula, is the principal commercial harbor. Navigation is closed from early in January to the latterhalf ofApril. Helsingfors canbereached from Tallinn (Reval), capital of Esthonia, in an afternoon's sail.
